I just purchased the Razer Core and want to update my Razer Blade Stealth with the latest Anniversary Update for Win 10 (VERSION 1607).  Are there any special steps I should take?
Razer recommends following the update procedure you can find here.
Which GPUs can be used with Razer Core?
Razer Core supports a wide variety of GPUs from both AMD and NVIDIA. We recommend reviewing the list of compatible plug and play graphics processors. Please ensure the graphics you select meets all power, size, and additional requirements. Older cards may function but compatibility and driver support may vary.
My Razer Core will disconnect from my Wi-Fi.
For the best performance with the Razer Core and Razer Blade we recommend using a 5Ghz Wi-Fi connection.
When I plug in my Razer Core to the Blade, none of the USB devices and external monitor connected to Core are working.

In order to recover, do the following steps

 

Unplug the Razer Core from your Blade by removing the Thunderbolt cable.
Shutdown the Blade system and also power off Core’s power supply.
Let both Blade and Core remain in Power OFF state for 30 seconds.
After 30s, Power ON Core’s power supply.
Plug the Razer Core to your Blade via Thunderbolt cable.

Does my compatible Razer Blade Stealth or New Razer Blade notebook require software updates to function with Razer Core?
To ensure your notebook has the latest performance and system stability, please install the latest software updates. For a list of update steps and files please check the Razer Core update page.
Where can I download graphics drivers for Razer Core?
You can download the latest stable drivers from NVIDIA or AMD for use with your compatible graphics card.
Which notebooks are compatible with Razer Core?
Razer Core currently supports the Razer Blade Stealth and Razer Blade. As additional systems adopt Thunderbolt 3 external graphics requirements we hope to expand support to future devices.
Can Razer Core function when the case is removed?
No, The Razer Core will not function without the case. The Razer Core includes a magnetic sensor inside the chassis that requires the case attached before Razer Core can be fully utilized.
Can I use the quick release handle to carry the Razer Core?
The quick release handle is for opening the system only. This should not be used as a carrying handle. Instead please lift from the bottom of the system when transporting Razer Core.
What is the weight and material shell of Razer Core?
The Razer Core is CNC milled out of aluminum and weighs 10.89 lbs.
Can I use the Razer Core without installing a graphics card?
Yes, the Razer Core’s I/O ports including USB and Ethernet will continue to function without a graphic card installed.
Is there a longer Thunderbolt cable available for the Razer Core?
For maximum performance, the Razer Core includes a .5m active cable that supports speeds up to 40Gbps. Longer Thunderbolt 3 cables are available and sold separately but with reduced speeds of 20Gbps.

In additional to select Razer Blade notebooks, will the Razer Core work with other Thunderbolt 3 devices?
Thunderbolt 3 external graphics is a new and ever growing technology. The Intel NUC is the first non Razer Blade system to ship with support of Thunderbolt 3 external graphics and we look forward to seeing more in the near future.  Support for third party devices may vary.

How do I request or purchase replacement parts for my Razer product?
Razer Systems must be repaired at an Authorized Service Center, please contact us at 1-855-872-5233 to arrange for repairs.
I have a coupon/promotional/gift voucher code for the RazerStore. Where can I enter the code so I can use it to purchase products?
From your shopping cart page on the Razer Store, please check the box labeled “Enter Promo Code.” Enter the code into the box and click “Apply Code.” The total price after should reflect the discount.
I recently placed an order on the Razer Store and it still shows my order is "In Process".  When will my order ship?
We are sorry if there are any delays in processing your order. The product may be out of stock or the order may be under protection/fraud review. Please don’t hesitate to check your order status at the RazerStore page by entering your information at the Order Status page.
I think my Razer product is defective and would like an RMA/exchange.

What are some examples of a “Proof of Purchase” to provide when initiating an RMA?
A valid proof of purchase is defined as a dated sales receipt from an authorized Razer Reseller. The receipt must show the product description and price. Invoice slips and e-mail order confirmations can be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Why does Razer require a proof of purchase?
Razer must verify that the product is within the specified warranty period and that it was purchased from an authorized reseller. Products purchased from unauthorized dealers are often used, counterfeit, re-boxed, defective or gray market goods. These units may also not be designed and packaged to work in your country and may not meet all legal and safety requirements.  Razer will not be able to honor a warranty on products purchased from an unauthorized dealer or that are out of the warranty period.  If you purchased product from an unauthorized reseller, all support and warranty issues should be directed to that reseller.
