FAQ

I downloaded Razer Synapse and made an account, but I can’t log in.
Please activate your account by clicking on the link in the confirmation e-mail that was sent to your e-mail address. You will be able to log in after your e-mail address is verified. If you still cannot log in, please contact our support team at http://www.razersupport.com/contact-us
Are there any special requirements to install Razer Synapse?
Razer Synapse requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4 to be installed. In preparation for Razer Synapse, users are encouraged to download and install the .NET Framework 4 through the Microsoft support site. This operation may take more than 10 minutes, depending on your internet connection.
If I have more than one Razer Naga, can Razer Synapse configure all of them at the same time?
No. Razer Synapse currently supports one attached Razer Naga device at one time. Please utilize the profile feature to create different sets of preferences and settings.
How do I use the Razer Synapse Naga Add On Feature?
As Razer Synapse does not save your private account information on the cloud, please sign into the game to let Razer Synapse identify your account name. Then, please check the box to activate the Razer Naga Add On feature and identify the game's executable file. Your Razer Naga add on will now automatically sync the next time you log into Razer Synapse 2.0.
How is Razer Synapse an evolution of onboard memory?
While Razer Synapse and onboard memory are both at its core, storage solutions for custom user settings, Razer Synapse is not limited by storage capacity in the same way onboard memory is. This is because Razer Synapse saves settings to a cloud, software with virtually infinite expandable memory while a peripheral's onboard memory is limited by hardware.
Furthermore, as Razer Synapse is cloud-based software, it is capable of expanding its feature set to include additional future solutions for you, such as storage and syncing of game-specific add-ons.
How does Razer Synapse change the way I configure my Razer devices?
Razer Synapse was designed to unify your interaction with all your future Razer devices on one single platform. Access and configure all settings on all your Razer devices from just one application. And you never have to manually download and update drivers for each individual Razer product as Synapse will automatically sync and update all of them at one go.
Does Razer Synapse require an internet connection to function?
Razer Synapse 2.0 has both an online and offline mode. When the user has an active internet connection, Razer Synapse 2.0 will save and sync personal user settings to the cloud in real time. Once the user loses their internet connection, the settings will be retained on the local machine in the offline mode. Users will still be able configure and create new settings in this offline mode and these settings will be cached and stored (on the local machine) until internet connection is restored and it will automatically update to the cloud; providing a seamless user experience. (Please note you will need an internet connection in order to initially download Razer Synapse Software)
Will my Razer products require Razer Synapse 2.0 to function?
All Razer products function as plug and play devices. Razer Synapse offers a service above and beyond basic functionality to enhance your Razer product's capabilities. This includes features like configuring and saving macros, key binds, and preference settings. Razer Synapse also maintains your devices in optimal condition by automatically updating and downloading driver and firmware updates, in addition to its cloud-syncing ability.
Razer Synapse is not compulsory software to get your Razer peripherals working - but it is advisable if you want to get the best out of them.
How much does Razer Synapse 2.0 cloud service cost to use?
Absolutely nothing. Razer Synapse is core software to support all future Razer products, so it is instantly yours as soon as you purchase a next-generation Razer weapon. If you're interested to use Razer Synapse 2.0 with current Razer devices, please view this current product compatibility list to see if yours will be Synapse enabled.
Which devices are supported?
Razer Synapse will support all next generation Razer products. Look out for the Synapse icon on product boxes!
Will there be support for other legacy products?
Synapse architecture enables real time updating and opens the door to backward compatibility with Razer legacy products. Have a legacy product you want supported? Let us know at http://www.razersupport.com/contact-us/.
Does Razer Synapse require the user to login every time in order to configure their settings?
Yes, but you can simply bypass this if you checkmark "stay logged in" on the login screen. The next time Synapse boots up, it'll keep you logged in and won't prompt the sign-in dialog.
